Opening doors...
As a council member I promise to keep you informed of what is going on in the City and in City Hall. I will post updates to this blog regularly. I will keep the door open! Let us continually improve the City by opening new doors, encouraging investment and leaving no rock unturned when looking for ways to give increased value to our citizens without increasing taxes.

Absentee Ballots

If you are registered to vote thirty days before the election, but are anticipating that you will not be able to vote at the Shaver Complex the date of the election (March 9th between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00pm) then vote with an absentee ballot.  The process is simple.  Call the Oconee Voter Registration Office at 638-4196 and request an absentee ballot.  They will mail the ballot to your home. Fill out the information requested, vote for up to four of the candidates and mail the ballot back to the address indicated on the ballot.  It's simple and painless and guarantees your vote will be counted on election day!
