In a recent newspaper article one of the candidates for Seneca City Council was quoted as saying "I will not make any no-tax pledge". This candidate believes that if you say "I'm never going to raise taxes...", then that makes you “naïve”. Well than, call me naïve.
I will not vote to raise taxes!

Remember: Any government cannot give away what it hasn't TAKEN from someone else.
Just read today's Seneca Journal. There is an interview of another of the City Council Candidates. He say's "You can't go in with a no-tax rule".

So far two of the candidates for city council have said they have no problem with raising taxes. Hello! Is anybody home?
Government should be transparent. By the sound of it not only will you be opening doors but drawing back the curtais as well.
